We are looking for a Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products.
Python Developer responsibilities include writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team.
Ultimately, you’ll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs.
Key responsibilities:
Constantly work on diverse and challenging new functionalities, such as improving current strategies and finding new strategies for integrating third-party web services, content extraction, proxy management, data clean-up and reporting, task queue workflow and management, and more. Ability to influence business and product delivery in a flexible company structure. Collaborate with the Data, Search, and Talkwalker teams. Opportunity to work with ElasticSearch, gRPC, Protobuf, AWS, MongoDB, JupyterLab, Pandas, Celery, and Flask. Write production code for large-scale applications running on more than 4,000 servers and processing petabytes of data each day.Work in our multidisciplinary engineering team with diverse backgrounds.Be involved in big data initiatives.
Qualifications:
You enjoy fun and have experience in programming complex software technologies.Proven Python development skills.Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (such as Flask or Pandas). Knowledge of NoSQL database document modeling and querying. Familiarity with front-end technologies (such as JavaScript and HTML5). You create stable, reliable, and maintainable code. You have a good understanding of algorithms and data structures. You are creative, self-motivated, willing to experiment, and have a track record of getting things done.
